Birding for beginners: winter wildfowl

A guided walk along the Heritage Trail at Loch Leven to spot winter wildfowl and other wildlife.

The Scottish Wildlife Trust's Fife and Kinross Group leads a wander along the Heritage Trail to RSPB Loch Leven, looking for winter wildfowl and other birds and wildlife. The route passes several hides offering good views of the loch, and if time allows the group may venture up the hill. Tracks are well made but can be muddy, so waterproof footwear and clothing are advised; children are welcome with an adult and binoculars or telescopes can be brought along.
