A volunteer-led guided walk at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve observing winter birdlife, from woodland species to overwintering ducks on the lakes.
A volunteer-led guided walk around Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve focusing on the bird species present in winter. With bare trees, woodland species such as Goldcrest and Treecreeper are easier to spot, alongside overwintering Siskin, Redwing and Redpoll, while the lakes host Shoveler, Gadwall, Pochard and Wigeon, with chances of Snipe, Kingfisher and Water Rail. The walk lasts around three hours and is recommended for ages 12 and over; binoculars and sturdy footwear are advised.
