Spooky Star Gazing

An evening of astronomy, telescope help and self-led light-and-space activities with Bishop Auckland Astronomical Society, including weather-dependent outdoor stargazing.

Meet the Bishop Auckland Astronomical Society in the Main Hall to learn astronomy basics and get help setting up a personal telescope. Self-led activities explore light and space; weather permitting, society members will demonstrate high-powered telescopes on the outdoor apron. The museum shop and café are closed during the evening, with a self-service hot-drink station available.
