About
A two-day half-term programme exploring railway signalling, light and colour through object hunts, hands-on experiments, flag-making and shadow theatre.
This two-day half-term programme links railway signalling with light and colour. Families can follow a Great Object Hunt, explore Newton’s prism experiments and make a spinning colour wheel, create signalling flags to send messages, and join artist Dawn Belshaw for shadow-theatre storytelling. Members of Bishop Auckland Astronomical Society join on Saturday for questions about space and a bottle-rocket activity.
