Basket Weaving - Gwehyddu Basged

This one-day course teaches participants how to make a willow bag using the Catalan weaving technique.

The workshop focuses on creating a willow bag, utilizing the Catalan weaving technique for the base and two weaving techniques for the sides. The finished bag is completed with leather handles and a simple trac border. All materials, tools, tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided, but participants must bring a packed lunch. The course is suitable for those with some experience working with willow, though prior experience is not essential.
