Christmas Gelli Printing Workshop: Cards & Decorations with Kathryn Jones-Romain

A gelli printing workshop making Christmas cards and decorations, run by Kathryn Jones-Romain at West Hove Studio.

This hands-on workshop introduces gelli printing, a press-free printing technique using a gel plate and acrylic paints to create one-of-a-kind monoprints. Participants explore pattern and mark-making techniques, including using laser prints and different media to lift paint and create textures, producing an array of prints to turn into Christmas cards and decorations. All materials, equipment, tea, coffee and biscuits are included, and everyone takes home their finished cards and decorations. The session is open to all levels, from complete beginners to experienced printmakers, and is suitable for adults and those aged 16 and over.
