Hand-Built Ceramics Workshop with Katie Preece – Make a Mug & Plate

A half-day hand-built pottery workshop with Katie Preece making a mug and side plate using slab-building and foliage-texturing techniques.

Katie Preece of KP Studio leads a half-day hand-building pottery session in which participants make a ceramic mug or tumbler and a side plate using traditional slab-building techniques. Decoration is added through mark making and pressing in locally foraged foliage, and attendees may bring their own gathered materials though plenty are provided. The workshop runs 12–3.30pm and is booked directly with the tutor, who hires the studio.
