Gelli Print Workshop: Gift Boxes & More with Kathryn Jones-Romain

A three-hour gelli printing workshop where participants create monoprints and decorate gift boxes for small Christmas presents.

Kathryn Jones-Romain leads an introduction to gelli printing, a press-free printing technique using acrylic paints to make one-of-a-kind monoprints. Participants explore pattern and mark-making techniques, including using laser prints and other media to lift paint and create textures, then apply their prints to gift boxes in different sizes. Everyone leaves with an array of prints, finished gift boxes and a gift box template. All materials, equipment, aprons and refreshments are included; the session is open to all levels, adults and ages 16+.
