Cities and Communities
About
A five-day CAT teaching week exploring just, sustainable cities and the environmental, political, economic and policy systems that shape them.
Lectures, discussions and practical activities explore fairer, more sustainable cities, climate justice, planning, grassroots initiatives and the systems shaping urban life. Anna Poston and Zoë Quick teach alongside other graduate-school staff and guest lecturers. Short-course participants learn with postgraduate students and receive a certificate of attendance; the course does not carry assessed postgraduate credit. The week runs from 7 December at 10:00 to 11 December at 13:00. Some activities are reserved for degree students, with alternatives arranged for short-course attendees.
