About
A participatory poetry workshop with Sukina Noor exploring the classical Arabic qasida as a route to healing, memory, faith and belonging.
Poet and educator Sukina Noor, current Bristol City Poet, leads a reflective writing workshop exploring Al-Qasida, the classical Arabic poetic form, as a pathway to creativity, reflection and wellbeing. Through guided writing and contemplation, participants explore how poetry can give voice to the inner self and create space for expression and connection. The session lasts 90 minutes and is open to all regardless of faith, with doors closing shortly before the advertised start time.
