The Hikmah of Herbs: Tea Tasting Workshop
About
A one-hour tea ceremony with herbalist Rabiah Mali exploring Islamic traditions of plant medicine at Cambridge Central Mosque.
Herbalist Rabiah Mali leads a gentle, intimate tea ceremony rooted in the Islamic tradition of plant medicine. Participants explore the traditional healing properties and stories held within each plant, reflecting on how plants have been woven into traditions of nourishment, wellbeing, remembrance and healing. The session invites attendees to slow down and encounter plants through touch, smell and taste, and is open to all regardless of faith. Doors close shortly before the advertised start time, so arrival 15 minutes early is requested.
