Neighbours: Borders, Bodies, Belonging

A CELF exhibition curated by Peter Finnemore exploring borders, belonging and everyday experience through historic and contemporary works from national collections.

Curated by Peter Finnemore as a companion to Silvers of Space, this exhibition in Rooms 8 and 9 draws on the collections of Amgueddfa Cymru, the National Library of Wales and Glynn Vivian Art Gallery. Historic and modern works, including pieces by Robert Frank, are shown alongside contemporary artists from Wales and internationally. Themes include borders and belonging, the sublime and the everyday, and domestic and working-class experience. It forms part of the CELF (National Contemporary Art Gallery for Wales) project.
