Deptford Creek Bird Survey

A free guided bird survey walk along Deptford Creek, recording birdlife from fixed points between Creekside Discovery Centre and the Thames.

Participants meet at Creekside Discovery Centre and walk the southern end of Deptford Creek, stopping at fixed points to record birds seen and heard while heading north towards the Thames. The session offers support with visual and birdsong identification and contributes to ongoing monitoring of the Creek's bird populations. All ages are welcome, with under-16s accompanied by a parent or guardian; binoculars and ID guides can be brought along, with a limited number available to borrow.
