About
A guided two-hour wade along the bed of Deptford Creek at low tide, exploring its wildlife, ecology and history.
This low tide walk takes participants down onto the river bed of Deptford Creek with guides from Creekside Discovery Centre. Over about two hours, walkers put on provided waders, wade up and back down the river using nets to observe wildlife under the water, and learn about the creek's natural and social histories and the centre's conservation work. The activity is open to children aged 12 and above, and participants should arrive 15 minutes before the start time.
