Irish Group Discusses: Roddy Doyle's Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha

The bookshop's open Irish book group discusses Roddy Doyle's Booker Prize-winning Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha.

Five Leaves Bookshop's monthly Irish book group meets to discuss Roddy Doyle's 1993 Booker Prize-winning novel Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha, told through the eyes of a ten-year-old boy in Barrytown. The session opens with a short introduction from a staff member, group regular or guest with a special interest in the book, followed by group discussion. The group is open to everyone — you don't have to be Irish — and attendees are asked to read the book in advance; refreshments are provided.
