Baltic Creative Climate Club

A free monthly club at BALTIC's Front Room combining creative activities and expert-led sessions on nature and climate issues, for ages 13+.

Creative Climate Club is a free monthly meeting for people interested in responding creatively to nature, the local environment and climate issues. Sessions include artist-led activities such as painting, collage and photography, learning with community experts on topics like pond ecology and the River Tyne, and visits to local green spaces. The 24 October session is a mycelial wreath-making workshop with mycologist Matt Hall, while the 28 November session explores flood resilience with experts from the Environment Agency and Newcastle City Council.
