Glasgow Natural History Society Talks
About
Free public natural history lectures at Kelvin Hall, with talks by researchers, conservationists and writers open to everyone.
The Glasgow Natural History Society hosts a series of free public lectures at Kelvin Hall, welcoming both lifelong naturalists and the simply curious. Each evening features talks by researchers, conservationists and writers on topics such as conservation, wildlife and pollination. Lectures last approximately one hour, require no specialist knowledge and no booking is needed. On 10 November Colin Adams of the University of Glasgow speaks on intraspecific variation in conservation, and on 8 December Bob Elliott of Wild Justice and Jemma Guthrie of the University of Glasgow give talks on bee-keeping and moth pollination.
