Festive Foil Decorations
About
A beginner-friendly festive workshop where participants shape and emboss metallic foil into decorations such as ornaments, stars and garlands.
This relaxed two-hour workshop teaches beginners how to transform metallic foils into festive decorations using techniques like shaping, embossing and sculpting. Participants create at least two or three finished pieces — hanging ornaments, stars or garlands — personalising them with texture, layering and detailing, with all materials provided. The session runs twice, on 24 November and 1 December 2026, and is led by Leicestershire artist and educator Jo Shearer. Participants must be aged 14 or over, with under-18s accompanied by a paying adult.
