CWGC Tours 2026 - Oxford Botley Cemetery

A free 90-minute guided tour of Oxford Botley Cemetery's Commonwealth war graves, led by a Commonwealth War Graves volunteer guide.

Commonwealth War Graves offers a free guided tour of Oxford (Botley) Cemetery, meeting at the Chapel of Rest. The tour covers the war graves plot holding 156 First World War burials and 516 Second World War burials — the cemetery served as an RAF regional cemetery during the Second World War — plus almost 70 war graves of other nationalities. Architectural features of the plot were designed by Edward Maufe, ARA. The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes, covers about 300 metres on level paths and grass, and is wheelchair accessible.
