CWGC Tours 2026- Cardiff Cathays Cemetery

A free 90-minute guided walking tour of Cardiff Cathays Cemetery's Commonwealth war graves, led by a Commonwealth War Graves Commission volunteer guide.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission runs a free guided tour of Cardiff Cathays Cemetery, home to over 700 Commonwealth and allied war graves from the two world wars — the highest number of CWGC war graves in Wales. Led by an experienced volunteer guide, the tour lasts around 90 minutes and covers about 500 metres over paths and grass on uneven ground. It starts at the main entrance on Allensbank Road, in the cemetery near Heath Hospital; visitors should dress for the weather and wear suitable footwear, and well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
