Reading Queer Social

A free monthly social night for LGBTQ+ people aged 18 and over, with volunteer-organised activities and a different theme each month.

Reading Queer Social is a monthly gathering at the Rising Sun Arts Centre offering a space for queer people to socialise and have a drink. Each first Friday of the month, a team of volunteers puts together original activities around a different theme, announced via the group's Instagram and Outsavvy pages. The event is free and open to the LGBTQ+ Reading community, though advance registration is encouraged to gauge numbers. It is strictly 18+ with ID checks on the door and at the bar, and the downstairs venue is wheelchair accessible.
