Christmas Wreath Foraged Style
About
A hands-on workshop at The Arc where participants make a sustainable Christmas wreath from foraged and natural materials, led by artist Nicky Bell.
This workshop teaches participants to create a Christmas wreath entirely from foraged and natural materials, avoiding plastic and store-bought kits. Attendees build a rustic frame from bendy twigs such as willow, hazel or birch, or use wire, then layer evergreen foliage, berries and pinecones, securing everything with natural garden twine. Some materials are provided, and participants are encouraged to forage extra greens, berries and decorations to bring along. Suitable for beginners and experienced wreath-makers alike, the session runs from 10.30am to 4.30pm and participants should bring an old shirt or apron.
