Moving & Handling Train The Trainer

This two-day in-person course trains participants to deliver moving and handling training.

This course equips participants with the skills necessary to deliver moving and handling courses to others. Topics covered include trainer roles and responsibilities, reviewing handling techniques and risk assessments, and creating an inclusive learning environment. The curriculum also covers communication, adapting to different learning styles, managing difficult behaviour, and understanding the legal and regulatory aspects of manual handling. The training concludes with a 15-minute micro-teaching practice and peer evaluation, and the certificate is valid for three years.
