Screen Printing - Exposing Screens, Registration & Repeats

A two-part one-day screen printing course at Colchester Makerspace covering screen exposure, registration and repeat patterns.

This two-part day course with associate artist Katie covers the full process of screen exposure and printing. In the morning, participants process and create designs onto two exposed screens; in the afternoon they use the screens to make two-colour prints, learning registration, multiple printing techniques and repeat patterns. Aimed at those who have completed the introductory hand-cut stencil workshop or screen exposure induction, not beginners, and attendees must be aged 18+. Participants are asked to prepare an idea of what they would like to print in advance; all materials are included.
