About
A free Black History Month screening of Amanda Daud's documentary 'We Are Nature' followed by poetry and a panel discussion on environmental justice and racial equality.
As part of Black History Month 2026, the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights presents a screening of Amanda Daud's documentary 'We Are Nature', which follows Connor and Anesu as they explore Scotland's landscapes through personal stories of belonging, resilience, race and the outdoors. The evening opens with poetry from Phoenix Archer, followed by a panel discussion with Amanda Daud, Tariqua Telahun Gorrissen and Lucien Staddon Foster examining environmental justice and racial equality and the practical actions audiences can take. The event runs from 5pm to 7pm at the University of Glasgow's Kelvinhall Lecture Theatre.
