About
A drop-in drawing event at Sutton Hoo with materials in the Discovery Room, outdoor chalkboards and sketching bags to borrow around the site.
Visitors can sketch and draw throughout their visit, with all materials provided. Artwork can be taken home or displayed in the Discovery Room gallery, which is open daily from 10.30am to 5pm. Chalkboards and coloured chalks are placed along the site walks, and 'sketching bags' with A6 pads, pencils and pens can be borrowed from Visitor Welcome. On some Thursdays and Fridays the room is also used by Sutton Hoo's artist in residence, Amanda Warren.
