Inside the Archive Exhibition - The Harris

This multimedia installation allows visitors to explore the film and television collections of the BFI National Archive.

The exhibition features a selection of films from Mitchell & Kenyon’s Edwardian Britain, which were discovered in 1994. These films provide stunning images of ordinary life in late-Victorian and Edwardian Britain, capturing factory workers and schoolchildren across Preston. The installation allows visitors to learn about the preservation and accessibility of these important film collections.
