Volunteer Taster Day at Lackford Lakes

A practical conservation taster with reserve wardens, trying tasks such as coppicing, meadow management or infrastructure repairs.

Participants can try practical reserve-management work with the wardens and learn about the Trust’s regular work parties. The tasks require some physical strength and that this is not a taster for visitor-facing café or welcome roles. Toilets are at the Visitor Centre, not on the work site. Booking is essential; the event is not wheelchair accessible.
