Workshop: Wet Felt Flower Brooch
About
A beginner-friendly wet felting workshop at Lackford Lakes where participants create their own merino wool flower brooch with felt artist Lizzie Brown.
This hands-on workshop introduces the age-old technique of wet felting, using soap, water and massage to turn fine merino wool fibres into felt fabric. Guided by Lizzie Brown of Felt Fantastic, adults and teens aged 16+ will create a colourful flower brooch to pin to clothing or use as home decoration, with all materials provided and teas and coffees served on arrival. Participants can bring photos for inspiration or follow samples provided, and the session is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience.
