Shivaratri Meditation ~ London
About
A free group Shivaratri meditation evening featuring a Yang Spiral Meditation with music followed by silent or mantra meditation.
An evening group meditation held on the night of Shiva, celebrated twelve times a year before the new moon and described as the most auspicious time of the month for meditation. The session opens with an introduction to the concept of Shiva, followed by a Yang Spiral Meditation with music, in which participants form a counterclockwise spiral alternating between men and women according to the zodiac signs. The evening concludes with a silent meditation or, for those who already know it, a mantra meditation. No prior experience is needed and everyone is welcome; late entry is not permitted after the 9:15pm start.
