Stitching Time: The London Archives

A free RIBA Learning sewing and conversation workshop at The London Archives, contributing stitches to a travelling collaborative fabric piece.

RIBA Learning hosts an afternoon of sewing and chat inspired by the collections and displays at The London Archives. Participants stitch shapes, words, patterns or draw with thread onto a shared fabric that evolves to reflect the contributors and conversations. The piece travels to venues over three years during the refurbishment of RIBA's headquarters, building a community of stitchers. The workshop is led by artist Lil Adams and architectural designer Edie Parfitt.
