About
A free drop-in sewing and conversation workshop within the Maggie's Centres exhibition, contributing to a communal stitched artwork.
RIBA Learning hosts a sewing and chat session inside the exhibition 'Just Come In: 30 Years of Maggie's Centres', continuing the Stitching Time project begun in 2025. Visitors stitch shapes, words and patterns onto an evolving fabric piece while conversations unfold, with the gallery acting as a communal studio. The session is joined by exhibition curator Kate Dooley and led by artist Lil Adams and architectural designer Edie Parfitt. It is open to all ages, with under-18s accompanied by an adult.
