Fingringhoe Bows and Arrows

An outdoor half-term willow crafting session where children make and decorate bows, whittle arrows and try archery skills.

Essex Wildlife Trust hosts a hands-on willow crafting session at Fingringhoe Wick Nature Discovery Park during the October half term. Children bend and twist willow to create bows, decorate them with natural materials, then use tools to whittle arrows before testing their archery skills. The two-hour activity is fully outdoors and recommended for ages 5+, with all children accompanied by an adult.
