In the Footsteps of Mudlarks – Millennium Bridge
About
A guided archaeology walk explores the Thames foreshore at Millennium Bridge, examining surface artefacts that reveal the river’s history. Meet on the north bank. Steps are steep and have no handrail; contact the organiser about access. Booking is essential. Children must be at least eight and accompanied by an adult, with no more than two children per adult. Wear sturdy footwear; waterproof gloves and hand sanitiser are recommended. Artefacts remain on the foreshore: take photographs, knowledge and memories. Starts vary with tide and weather; use the published time for each session. Income supports the charity’s school programmes.
