This one-off twilight tour explores the friendship between Charlotte Brontë and Elizabeth Gaskell, with the house's restored Victorian rooms lit by candlelight as a backdrop. An expert guide brings to life the controversies and intimacies that shaped the careers, lives and legacies of the two writers, with exclusive access to rare objects and books. The £25 ticket includes a wine or non-alcoholic fizz on arrival and tea and cake after the tour, which runs from 6pm to 7:30pm; tickets are strictly limited.
