Miles Davis – Porgy and Bess

Hear Miles Davis and Gil Evans’s Porgy and Bess album in an immersive 360° spatial-audio playback.

The session features the 1959 collaboration between trumpeter Miles Davis and arranger Gil Evans, which reworks music from Gershwin’s opera through jazz improvisation and orchestral arrangements. Listeners hear the album from start to finish in Polygon Portal’s spatial-audio room. The source presents this as album playback, not a live performance by Davis or Evans.
