Behind the Scenes Tour: Royal Celebrations and Palace Decoration

A Museum-led tour follows Warner & Sons’ royal furnishing textiles from the Museum’s gallery to the Warner Textile Archive, examining patterns made for palace interiors and coronations.

The guided visit begins at Braintree Museum with an introduction and time in its Warner & Sons Gallery, then walks to the separate Warner Textile Archive for a visit of approximately one hour. It explores the silk designs Warner & Sons supplied for royal homes and celebrations, including work for Queen Victoria and later monarchs. Published hours are 10:30–13:00 on Friday 27 November 2026.
