Beginners Clay Club (Week 1)

The first session of a six-week beginners' pottery course with ceramicist Kim Stuttard, focusing on pinch pots.

Beginners' Clay Club is a six-week pottery course for complete beginners, taught by ceramicist Kim Stuttard in groups of no more than 10. Week 1 covers pinch pots: participants make a character egg cup or simple cup, join two small pots into a decorative bird or animal, and decorate with coloured slip. The pottery wheel is available every week for those wanting to try throwing, and all materials, tools, glazes and firing are included, with brew and cake each session.
