Joe Kirby

British pianist and composer Joe Kirby performs intimate neoclassical and ambient music blending solo piano with electronics and field recordings.

Joe Kirby, a British pianist and composer working between neoclassical, ambient and contemporary classical music, brings his live show to World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens. His piano-centred music incorporates subtle electronics, field recordings and sounds gathered while travelling, often inspired by places, memories and atmospheres. The performance moves between stripped-back solo piano and more immersive pieces built around synths and recorded textures. Doors open at 6:30pm with the stage at 8:00pm.
