Wednesday Evening Intermediate Pottery Class
About
A seven-week Wednesday evening intermediate pottery course at SkandiHus's E5 studio covering hand-building, wheel-throwing, decoration and glazing.
This intermediate-level course runs over seven Wednesday evenings, with each week focusing on a different technique spanning advanced hand-building, wheel-throwing, surface decoration and glazing, alongside time for practice and experimentation. Participants must have completed at least a twelve-week course previously or the equivalent elsewhere; joiners on this block enter in the sixth week of a longer 12-week course and receive a condensed studio introduction. All materials are provided, with buff stoneware clay charged at £5 per kg for firing, and students have access to tools, slips, moulds and in-house glazes. Teacher Violaine Verry leads the sessions, which are paced to suit each student.
