Easy Sundays: Folk Foundations

A free relaxed folk session with singer and fiddler Rachel Beattie helping experienced instrumentalists learn tunes and songs by ear.

Singer and fiddle player Rachel Beattie leads a relaxed folk session focused on learning tunes and songs by ear. Aimed at people who already play an instrument, it is designed as an introduction to joining local folk sessions and building confidence and a tune book alongside fellow musicians. The session runs 2pm–3.30pm and forms part of Easy Sundays, a regular programme of community activities supported by TRACS and the Scottish Storytelling Centre.
