About
A free screening of Kamal Aljafari's With Hasan in Gaza followed by discussion, marking the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
Filmlab Palestine and GMFP present a screening of With Hasan in Gaza at Birch Community Centre on the 109th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration. The film is built on rediscovered 2001 MiniDV tapes capturing the everyday streets, landscapes and people of Gaza, reflecting on memory and a place irreversibly altered. The evening includes a post-screening discussion, with refreshments available. Doors open at 5.30pm and the event runs until 8.30pm.
