Conservation of Historic Brickwork

A two-day practical introduction to the methods and ethics of conserving historic brickwork.

Classroom sessions cover surveying, specifying repairs, common faults, lime mortars, materials and tools; practical sessions include mixing mortars, preparing joints, repointing sample walls and surveying brick and mortar. The museum marks this session fully booked and lists a waiting-list contact.
