About
A face-to-face training course for workers and volunteers exploring the links between domestic abuse and suicide, using case studies to assess risk.
Equation runs this 3 hour 45 minute in-person course for workers and volunteers from all sectors who want to understand the links between domestic abuse and suicide. Participants examine case studies to improve awareness and the effectiveness of their responses, deepen their understanding of suicide risk in the context of domestic abuse, and learn about local and national referral and signposting options. The session also discusses local and national homicide reviews where suicide has been a factor, and delegates are warned in advance that the content may be distressing.
