Guide Dogs - Classic Experience - National Centre (2026)

A behind-the-scenes guided tour of the Guide Dogs National Breeding Centre, exploring how guide dogs are bred and trained.

Visitors are taken in small groups around the UK's only Guide Dogs breeding centre by volunteer guides, learning about the journey of a guide dog from before birth. The roughly two-hour tour may include viewing puppies (subject to availability), a sensory tunnel experience, walking with mobility aids, and a demonstration of guide dog equipment such as harnesses. Tea and coffee are provided at the end, and the tour involves a moderate amount of walking and standing.
