Exeter Grief Tending

A facilitated community grief tending ritual, part of All Souls' Day, offering gentle space to witness and express sorrow of all kinds.

A facilitated grief tending ritual forming part of the All Souls' Day community festival in Exeter. Participants gather in small groups for guided, optional exercises to welcome and express grief of any kind — bereavement, loss, ancestral or ecological sorrow — with a ritual space for non-verbal expression and soothing closing practices. The session runs from 6pm to 9pm with arrival from 5.45pm, and is open to all aged 18 and over with no prior experience of ritual needed.
