Home Educator Day - Blast Off! workshop

Build and test rockets while exploring forces and combustion, including a whoosh-bottle experiment and aerodynamic designs made with foam and K'nex.

Blast Off! is a practical rocket-building workshop about forces and combustion. Participants launch rockets, investigate a whoosh-bottle experiment, then design aerodynamic rockets from foam pieces and K'nex. The Home Educator Day also includes interactive exhibits and a live Planetarium show. Choose the 11:00 workshop (10:00 arrival) or 13:00 workshop (10:30 arrival); the workshop slots finish at 11:45 and 14:00, and the overall day ends at 15:30.
