Lino Printing onto Fabric Allerthorpe
About
A hands-on lino printing workshop where participants carve their own block and print repeating patterns onto fabric such as tea towels or tote bags.
Thread and Press CIC runs this five-and-a-half-hour adult workshop teaching relief printing with lino blocks. Participants carve their own 15cm-square block — using their own images or provided templates — then print with wash-safe inks onto a fabric panel, tea towel or tote bag, with extra items available to buy on the day. All materials, equipment and hot drinks are provided, and tutor Holly offers guidance throughout, including for complete beginners. Children aged 11 and over may attend if accompanied by an adult.
