About
Edinburgh Napier University students perform Stef Smith's reimagining of Ibsen's A Doll's House, spanning three time periods, over four evening shows.
Edinburgh Napier University's 4th year BA (Hons) Acting and English students stage Stef Smith's bold new version of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House. The production reframes Ibsen's 1879 drama of womanhood across three eras — the fight for women's suffrage, the Swinging Sixties and the modern day — as Nora's carefully ordered life unravels when a secret from her past resurfaces. The play runs over four evening performances and contains adult themes.
