Leather Bottle Making Workshop

A full-day hands-on workshop in Annan where participants sew, shape and wax dip their own leather drinking bottle.

Viking Leathers hosts a nine-hour craft session teaching participants to cut out, sew, shape and wax dip a leather bottle suitable for cold drinks, using only leather and beeswax. The bottles are wet formed, with a drying period timed to coincide with the lunch break. Some confidence with knives and needles is required, though scissors may be used instead; the event is for ages 18 and over and attendees should bring their own lunch.
